Consuming Fire Ministries - Chad Taylor
FIELD REPORT JULY 31st 2025:
We are home.
30 states, countless cities, and so many moments that felt like a continuation of the Book of Acts. But isn’t that what it should be anyway? Acts Chapter 29?
Following in the footsteps of our spiritual trailblazers who marked a path for all of us to follow They impacted entire cities with their ministry.
As one person wrote, “When Paul came to a city, it was riot or revival!”
So true. But today, we settle for far less. We haven’t lowered the bar—we’ve dropped it altogether.
Our spiritual standards are so low that we simply turn our heads and look the other way. Ravenhill once wrote, “Either God will use us or He will find someone else altogether...”
Do you know why? Because their souls are just as valuable as ours!
We need spiritual waypoints on every street corner—Outreaches, Street Feeds, and witnesses in every park, sidewalk, and public place.
Anything less is simply an insult to the centuries of missionaries who gave their lives for the Gospel. An injustice to the Gospel itself.
My friend, we will either have a spiritual awakening—where we fully grasp the magnitude of the Great Commission again—or I fear God will leave us in the backdraft of a new breed of Christian, one who is not politicized or compromised.
Faces like flint, determined to see the world saved—that none should perish!
If you’re still reading: Our homecoming was bittersweet. We’re thankful to be home, but the faces and traces of those we touched with the love of God are burned into our hearts forever.
The workers are so few it’s terrifying! My heart is pulled back to the cities and streets—I must go! I’ve already received my marching orders from the Lord.
I leave again in 8 days to return to Athens, Chattanooga, and Knoxville—where it all started.
The Macedonian Call—akin to Acts 16—The deafening cry of millions of lost souls:
“COME HELP US!”
“I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! ” – Luke 12:49
3 years ago, the heaven's opened over a dilapidated parking lot in the shadow of a burned out abandoned Cadillac dealership. What was simply an act of mercy, for a handful of vagabond and homeless drifters, became a ground surge, an explosion of grace dramatically impacting municipalities, schools, businesses, and garnering the attention of local and regional news.
In a few short months, it would spring up in other cities, even states, where outreach and street feeds would become a weekly mission, dramatically impacting entire cities. Revival in every sense of the word.
Thousands would be fed. Open air baptisms and public salvations. Many would go on to receive housing and employment, when local real estate companies offered their services. The lines between church and city blurred, as local municipalities supported the move of God.
From FEMA and Homeland Security participating in a food drive, to the DMV offering ID's, while other local agencies waved deposits, removing the hardships that would otherwise prevent them from moving forward.
The real miracle though, is that this is still ongoing as of this writing. 7 days a week, in Thomasville and outlying cities—God is moving in empty parking lots, streets and neighborhoods!
In recent weeks, I have felt the Holy Spirit stirring my heart again. A familiar expectation deep in my spirit that something was about to shift.
This has been the longest interim that I have not traveled in ministry since 1998. But friend, it was only after a few weeks in that dilapidated parking lot, surrounded by the growing crowds of homeless, that I knew everything was going to change...
I remember the Holy Spirit almost shouting in my heart, “Why talk about it when you can just DO IT! Show My people what revival really is...” Since August of 2022, I have done just that. Like the Olympic torch relay, we are called to carry the fire of revival into the world.
Torchbearers are selected from divers backgrounds to carry the symbolic torch into cities, ending at the Olympic stadium. In the 2024 Paris Olympics, 10,000 people carried the torch across France! Revival is no different.
We are called to be fire-starters and torchbearers, taking the Spirit of God into our cities and streets!
Philip was a New Testament torchbearer. In Acts 8:8 they testified, “There was great joy in that city!” Luke 10:1, is another example of Jesus anointing the early disciples as torchbearers, “After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go...” Fire starters!
The Holy Spirit has told me in no uncertain terms, IT IS TIME TO GO AGAIN! To take this ongoing, current, and real-time revival fire, “into every city and place” that He has already preordained.
Places pregnant with a move of God. The water ready to break in our streets and open places. A people bursting the seams of current events and longing to pour out the oil and the wine into those left for dead. Torchbearers!
Late May, early June, my son Nick and I will be embarking on a Nation wide trip. We will leave Thomasville GA, driving to Washington State criss-crossing this nation praying, and taking this fire to parts unknown. I am even now seeing glimpses from the Holy Spirit of where to go. Major cities and rural areas. Reservations. Places hard pressed and suffering.
A simple torchbearer announcing to the world: GOD IS NOT FINISHED WITH YOU YET! Greater things shall be done in your city.
