UPDATE: Revival continues in dilapidated parking lots, on sidewalks, and in the open air.

We are now approaching four years of an unprecedented outpouring on the streets of the Deep South. What started in a burned-out, abandoned parking lot in Thomasville, Georgia, now feeds, houses, and ministers to over 1,000 souls each week in countless cities and states.

Motel lobbies have become ground zero for outreach and food programs for children. Bible studies and Sunday schools have been established in gas station parking lots and trailer parks. Every municipality has participated, from FEMA and Homeland Security to local government officials and police departments.

I have been to over 40 states in the last year, taking this "torch and table" to the streets. Places like Fort Smith, Arkansas, have caught the fire and are in the throes of revival on their own streets, in their prisons, and throughout their city. The open heaven outside our church paradigms is real. Tangible, palpable, and reachable. It is an Isaiah 55:1 movement: “Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.”

This is the longest period in over 29 years of full-time ministry that I have not traveled in itinerant ministry. My hand is on the plow, and I cannot look back...
