Consuming Fire Network - Operation Ochlocknee

We first visited Ochlocknee GA. May of 2002 responding to a heart felt plea from parents of Ochlocknee. With our close friends from Georgia the "Inside Out" band and the Consuming Fire team we invaded this small southern community. Three days heralded the love of Christ to a large portion of the town including the mayor and many parents and their kids.

Multiple bands, free barbecue, boxes of New Testaments and finally many salvations marked this crossroads in the South. Later I found myself returning to Ochlocknee not only for the ministry but for my wife. Knowing that this was not just a coincidence but the providence of God that would cause me to reside in the place we once ministered to- I knew destiny was fast approaching. Now nearly one year later and still living in Ochlocknee, GA., there is one thing that stands out sharply: the lack of purpose in the youth. There simply is NOTHING for them to do. They stand idly on the street corners, jobless, and void of any alternatives. Thus the demand for this ministry house not only to house them and give them an alternative to the drugs and jail cells, but a place where Jesus is relevant and revival is imminent.

We are seeing city wide transformation; the desolation of many generations restored. Please read the various reports from page to page and experience with us this sign and wonder. From the local pool that has been empty for 18 years now in our possession soon to re-opened, to the 120 acres and two houses we are establishing for world wide ministry and the visual and evident change happening to the entire populace of Ochlocknee, GA. We also see a secondary purpose for the ministry house and land - to accommodate teams from around the world who come to receive an impartation and transference of revival. After months of taking back ground and innumerable prayers we have finally secured the ground we were praying for. Everyone of your prayers whether previous or present is the spiritual ammunition we are using to take this land. Please don't stop now.

God told me this year, "You have model ministries, you have model churches and you even have model ministers but I want to show you a model city." The Lord desires to change Ochlocknee so dramatically and powerfully that people from around the world will come and see and exclaim, "That's how you change a city!" Then they will turn around and go back to their own city and see the same occur there. Why is it so hard to believe God can win and change an entire city? Why are there so many churches and ministries residing in these hubs of human existence and yet death and destruction cohabitate? When Philip won Samaria "there was great joy in that city..." (Acts 8:8). When Jesus entered a city He healed ALL that were sick and in need of deliverance. Why then is our cities rarely influenced and impacted by our relationship with Jesus? We must set a spiritual precedence in the coming days and show the world that this is possible again. God knows my friend we are far from over in Ochlocknee. What I have often experienced in ministry and especially revival the last 16 years is that people get excited about something in the passion of the moment but rarely have the tenacity and faith to see it through to the end. Please don't let that happen in Ochlocknee. You helped us take the land now help us keep it.

Revival is not a flash in the pan of religious experience but rather a raging river of God's presence that over a period of time changes the very landscape and moral climate of a region, state and nation. That is what we are beginning to experience in Ochlocknee, GA. and it will take supernatural intervention and practical dedication from you and I to see it come to maturation.
